It won’t quite be a Bar-B-Que afterall. Rachel will be supplying chili cheese dogs and making her own version of a wedding cake. Beyond that, its a potluck. Dress casual. Weather forecast is, “Sunny. Highs in the lower 70s.”
We are planning a very casual reception Monday the 27th at Gordon & Trudy Peck’s home (back yard if weather permits), 132 N 500 E, Payson, UT 84651. It will be at 6-8pm. It is a potluck. So bring somthing to share. Can’t wait to see you there
We got married, and it has been an adventure. At the drive-through chapel a Hummer limo was at the head of the line, followed by a dozen or two Harley Davidson motorcycles, and then us in our shiny red little Toyota Prius. The wait was long, but it gave us more time to enjoy the scene.
Here now is a 9 minute long, 8.3M MP3 audio of the wedding ceremony I recorded via a digital recorder on the dash of the car. In the driver seat was me, Roger, then Rachel in the passenger seat. In the back seats sat my niece/maid of honor Anastasia, my dad (John Brown) as the Witness, and my best man Miguel Ramirez that I’ve known since the first grade.

It’s about 5am and we’re about to head out the door for Las Vegas. We have people commuting to Las Vegas from as far away from San Marcos, California. People are renting cars from places that don’t open until 9am, and are getting oil changes. If you figure 5 hours of drive time from 10am (9am Pacific) then the earliest they’d arrive in Las Vegas would be about 3pm. With delays, add an hour or more. So here’s the plan…
Let’s all meet at my brother Keith Brown’s house at the following address, then when everybody arrives, let’s go down to the wedding chapel together.

We did it! We officially Registered @ Target. My very Good Friend Aubrey helped me register at Target. (I got the addresses a little bit messed up. Using my old A.F. address instead of new Payson address. But it’s all good. Aubrey lives at the A.F. address and will take care of any gifts that come there.) The link to the target registry.
Poor Roger was persuaded into registering at Bed Bath and Beyond. He was extremely wonderful, and only grumbled half the time when I couldn’t decide on colors for different rooms. I give him kudos for this because he hates shopping with me. Which is why I had arranged for Aubrey to register with me. But because of outside circumstances were only able to register at Target that day.(My butt still hurts from falling out of the tree and landing on a shovel, especially when walking around a lot)
